How We Work

Three gates. Each one ends in something you can hold.

Discovery, Clarity, Execution. Three gates, each ending in something you can hold — not a status call.

01

Discovery

We sit with the people doing the work and map the real workflow — including the spreadsheet nobody mentions. Every manual handoff gets timed and costed.

  • Stakeholder workshops
  • Workflow and data audit
  • AI feasibility scoring
  • Risk and compliance review

You walk away withOpportunity map with effort-vs-impact scoring

02

Clarity

Scope is fixed in writing before a line of production code exists. Architecture, model strategy, interfaces and the success metric we will be judged on.

  • Solution architecture
  • Clickable prototype
  • Model and data strategy
  • Fixed scope and timeline

You walk away withSigned-off build plan and prototype

03

Execution

Two-week increments, demoed live. CI/CD, observability and rollback ship with the first release, so going to production is a routine event rather than an incident.

  • Fortnightly shipping cadence
  • Automated test and deploy
  • Live observability dashboards
  • Hypercare and handover

Ground Rules

The parts of delivery we do not negotiate

These exist because we have watched each one go wrong on somebody else's project.

One success metric, agreed in writing

Before the build starts we write down the number that decides whether this worked, and we report against it even when the reading is unflattering.

Fortnightly demos on real data

Every second week you see the actual system running, not a deck about it. Slippage surfaces at week two rather than month four.

Production hygiene from release one

Auth, backups, error tracking, CI/CD and rollback ship with the first deploy. These are cheap now and ruinous to retrofit.

We argue in discovery, not in invoicing

If a requested feature is wrong, you hear it before it is built. Building something we know is a mistake and charging for it is not a service.

Everything is documented to hand over

Architecture notes, runbooks and a working local environment. Another team should be able to pick this up without calling us.

You own the source, always

Repositories, infrastructure and accounts are in your name from day one. There is no version of this where we hold your product hostage.

Engagement Models

Pick the shape that fits where you are

A fixed-scope project suits a defined outcome with a deadline. A dedicated squad suits a roadmap that will keep moving. On-demand specialists suit a gap that is one person wide. We will tell you which one you actually need, including when that answer is the cheapest of the three.

  • Fixed-scope project — agreed deliverable, agreed price
  • Dedicated engineering team — ring-fenced squad, your rituals
  • On-demand specialists — monthly rolling, thirty days notice

Start Your Project

Discovery starts with one honest paragraph.

Describe the workflow, not the solution. We will come back with what we would build and what it would take.
